How long have you been with Team Results?

From my background of building businesses within the corporate environment, I learned the power that a great team brings. When I decided six years ago to start by own business ActionCoach Practice I realised I worked better as part of a team and wanted to join the best coaching team around. In 2008 I was asked to join that team at Team Results.

Why do you do what you do?

During 2005, I experienced massive personal change to my life and through that experience I learned that we are all much better than we give ourselves credit for.

When the opportunity to help other business owners overcome the major changes and challenges in business really motivated me to get out there and help them realise that they can do anything with the right focus and help.

What areas do you specialise in?

I have extensive experience of managing a variety of teams in many countries across Europe and Africa.  I was able to build teams which were not dependant on me.  During this time I specialised in   marketing and sales and now that knowledge has been extended to truly understand the psychology of what makes people buy things.

In addition, leadership of people is a burning passion of mine and in particular the understanding of how people communicate  which forms an essential part of building effective teams.

Latterly, I have studied with Dr Martyn Newman and am now a qualified Emotional Capital Leadership coach allowing me to help develop the skills required to build relationships and communicate effectively with all kinds of different people.

What is your personality type?

I am very much a people person and build lasting relationships. Growing the business is all about recruiting, motivating and helping develop the right people for the business.

Biggest frustration in your industry?

I believe that everyone can improve and learn to run a successful business.  I find it really frustrating when someone loses faith in their own ability to achieve their goals especially when this is caused by what other people think and say about them. Here at Team Results we learned to not be judgmental because every person is the expert on themselves, not someone else.
